My cry for restoration

Udoye Chidinma Miracle

My name is Udoye Chidinma Miracle, a 100-level medical student at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. My journey began with a dream to heal the sick, especially those silenced by poverty. But I’ve come to understand that both human and planetary health are inseparable.

The toxins in our air, the plastics in our water—these aren’t just environmental concerns. They’re the roots of the illnesses I’ll spend my life treating.
I may not have the means for grand change yet, but I believe in a journey of a thousand miles. My mission? To be a healer of both people and the planet
Its time for a change.
And I’m beginning now.

My Cry for Restoration is a visceral, first-person lament from the Earth itself bleeding, poisoned, and abandoned by those it sustains. Yet within its agony lies a fierce call to action. Repair what was stolen, heal what was defiled, and restore balance before it’s too late. it is a prescription for the healing of the earth, echoing the inseparable bond between Earth’s survival and our own.
