Mother Earth’s Song

Olanlokun Goodness Oluwasemilore

Hello, my name is Olanlokun Goodness and I’m proud to be part of a generation committed to restoring our planet.

As a Psychology student at Olabisi Onabanjo University, I’ve come to understand how deeply our environment shapes human behavior, and mental well-being.

Growing up, I witnessed the gradual disappearance of green spaces, replaced by concrete and pollution. It opened my eyes to the reality that healing the earth isn’t just a global responsibility, it’s a personal one too.

I believe the restoration of the earth will foster the restoration of minds and I am here to lend my voice, my hands, and my mind to the movement for a greener, healed planet.

Mother Earth’s Song
female
Age 14 - 17
Mother Earth's Song is a lamentation of the earth regarding how she has been spoiled and destroyed by the people who lived ahead. She raises a lamentation about how this destruction has not just affected her but this present generation of inhabitants as well.
In the end, she raises a call to us - this generation to make her whole again and provides measures to accomplish that.
