My name is Ogboe Sylvia, a 24-year-old Environmental Educator and Youth Leader based in Benin City, Edo State. I work with Safebox Energy, a solar innovation company focused on sustainable power solutions in underserved communities. I’m also the founder of the Climate Champions Network, where I engage secondary school students through clubs and school programs to raise awareness about climate change and environmental protection.
I studied Environmental Chemistry at the University of Benin and have always been passionate about using education, storytelling, and grassroots action to drive environmental change. My work focuses on issues like waste management, climate literacy, and ecosystem restoration, especially in communities affected by pollution and poor infrastructure.
