AKINTUNDE BUKOLA OLOLADE

Akintunde Bukola Ololade, is a proud Nigerian from Ogun State. She is currently an undergraduate studying Medicine and Surgery at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos. She completed her secondary education at Queen’s College, Yaba, Lagos, where she served as the Library Prefect and actively participated in extracurricular activities such as athletics, scrabble, essay writing, debate, and poetry competitions. As a senior student, she was also privileged to be part of the Bloom Initiative Leadership Week, an experience that deepened my understanding of impactful and value-driven leadership.

As an undergraduate, she is an active volunteer and creates awareness about the sustainable development goals. She also champions environmental sustainability and mental health awareness.

It highlights the consequences of pollution and neglect, while celebrating the power of a rising generation committed to restoration and sustainability. Through vivid imagery and hopeful rhythm, this poem urges youth to embrace renewable energy, waste segregation, and collective responsibility to shape a greener, healthier future.
