The story of my inner regeneration

Estefania Pretelt

I’m Estefi, daughter of the Caribbean Sea. I love a simple life in harmony with the Earth.

I have over 8 years of experience in innovation, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship. I have worked as a consultant with large corporations in the USA and Latin America, designing and developing new tech-based businesses. During the pandemic, I realized that even though I had “everything,” I felt a deep emptiness. That’s when the question that changed everything was born: How can I serve the Earth through my work?

That’s how a journey of inner regeneration, self-discovery, and reconnection with Mother Earth began. I sold everything and traveled through Latin America, learning how to live with simplicity. In 2024, I visited regenerative projects in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Brazil, Colombia, Portugal, and Spain, learning hands-on about permaculture, agroforestry, circular economy, and ancestral wisdom.

I specialized in Regenerative Entrepreneurship at the University for International Cooperation. I also deepened my understanding of deep ecology, studying Satish Kumar’s Radical Love at Schumacher College Brazil and learning directly from my mentor Karina Miotto, an environmental activist and a leading voice in deep ecology. I am currently continuing my training in Design for Sustainability and Regeneration at Gaia Education.

This is how my project Soy la Tierra was born: the integration of my experience in entrepreneurship with my deep commitment to life and the regeneration of the planet.

A year ago, I quit my corporate job to embark on a journey of reconnection with nature. After having a depression and deep concern about what was happening in the environment, I decided to connect with my roots, explore ancestral cosmovisions, and connect deeply with Mother Nature. In this story, I share the story of my path of inner regeneration and everything that has happened in my life to bring me to this point. I hope you enjoy it and maybe see a reflection of yourself in my journey.
