My name is Fabusiwa Toluwalase, a second-year medical student at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos. I champion climate change awareness through volunteer work and medical outreach. As an accomplished writer and academic transcriber, I earned a Silver Award in the 2023 Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition and received a special commendation in the 2021 I Am… Short Story Competition. Currently, I serve as the Content Director at the Federation of African Medical Students’ Association (FAMSA) and as a Writer at the College of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences Students Association (COMPSSA).
